Over 60 Legislative Bills signed into law

Secured $8,000,000 for the City of San José for the Warm Springs Quiet Zone to ensure trains passing through Japantown in Downtown San José keep their noise level down

Worked with the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority to secure $10 million in state funding to purchase the Laguna Seca property as part of a long commitment to protect and preserve the Coyote Valley

$10,000,000 for the East San José Corridor Safety Improvement Project to advance the City of San José’s Vision Zero strategy, a traffic safety initiative to eliminate deaths and serious injuries on roadways


Worked to get $9,000,000 for the SJSU Speed City Legacy Project which will update the track and field facility and will also be home to the Speed City Legacy Project-Social Justice that will bring programming and services to underserved areas

Fought for and won $1.5 million in state funding to restore Lake Cunningham

Authored legislation to help expand outreach services, counseling, transitional housing, or other services for unsheltered people living on public lands in Santa Clara County

Passed legislation to display the estimated cost of college course materials on the course schedule to make the full cost of each class more transparent
